Football Game Preview: Cactus Shadows Falcons vs. Arizona College Prep Knights + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Donivan Dixon and Evan Heinrich are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Cactus Shadows Falcons will venture away from home to take on the Arizona College Prep Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cactus Shadows is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Cactus Shadows is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Tucson High Magnet School as they made off with a 56-35 win. With the Falcons ahead 42-21 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Cactus Shadows' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alex Dafnis, who picked up 113 receiving yards, and also punched in one rushing score. That's the most receiving yards Dafnis has posted since back in September. Dillon Aspiras did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 40 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Arizona College Prep entered their matchup against Campo Verde last Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Knights fell 32-27 to the Coyotes.

Cactus Shadows will have to contain Kyle Poole as he made an impact in Arizona College Prep's last game. He picked up 122 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Poole showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 59 yards.

Even if they lost, Arizona College Prep's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Cole Caiazzo and Johnny Harmon, who each picked up one sack apiece. Another thorn in Campo Verde's side was Caiazzo, who picked up a sack and made 15 total tackles (1.5 for loss).

Arizona College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Cactus Shadows, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
