Meanwhile, Jordan Christian Prep scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Frostproof 71-2 on the road. That looming 71-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Jordan Christian Prep yet this season.
Jordan Christian Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Delissa Morris, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 13 steals. The game was Morris' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Amelia Williams, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Discovery's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-6. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.0 points per game. As for Jordan Christian Prep, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.
