Franklin Parish lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Claiborne Christian, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's matchup. The Franklin Parish Patriots were the clear victor by a 17-3 margin over the Claiborne Christian Crusaders on Saturday. The Patriots' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Franklin Parish's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.2 runs. As for Claiborne Christian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Franklin Parish is taking a road trip to challenge St. Frederick at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
