Basketball Recap: Munster Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Munster had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 70-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Hammond Bishop Noll was led to victory by Jaray Walker and Gabe Mobley. Walker went 9-for-14 on his way to 19 points and five assists, while Mobley shot 47% from the field to rack up 23 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jeffery Patton, who posted seven points and six boards.

Munster has already played their next contest (against Portage), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hammond Bishop Noll, they have also already played their next game, a 61-48 win against Hammond Morton on the 28th.
