Perry Central scaled the state rankings by moving to 153 from 189 this week, the biggest jump in 3A Region 8. The Bulldogs were able to make move up by besting Pass Christian 32-6.

Tylertown took down South Pike 48-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Perry Central's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Ashanta Bolton threw for 202 and 3 touchdowns and Stevie Scott had 105 yards receiving. On the ground Jeremy Scott contributed 102 yards. JR Ramsey helped Perry Central's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 55 yards.
