Basketball Game Preview: Benicia Panthers vs. College Park Falcons

The Benicia Panthers will face off against the College Park Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Wednesday, Benicia lost to Northgate at home by a 49-34 margin. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, College Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against Clayton Valley Charter, falling 65-17. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-9.

College Park's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Benicia, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.

Benicia took a serious blow against College Park when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 58-28. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of College Park's Taylor Ochoa, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine steals.
