Wake Prep Academy strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Guardians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Wake Prep Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept NCSSM: Durham between 19 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 25-19.

Josie Osborne paced Wake Prep Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Osborne got some help from Saniya Alston and her 17 assists. Harper Maxwell controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Wake Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for NCSSM: Durham, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wake Prep Academy will take on Louisburg at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
