Minneapolis South is a perfect 10-0 against Camden since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Patriots at 4:30 p.m. Minneapolis South will be strutting in after a win while Camden will be coming in after a loss.

Minneapolis South came out on top against Edison on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run third inning. The Tigers were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Tommies.

Shepard Daugherty tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

On the hitting side, Marcelo Villela Preciado was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Gavin Jensen, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs.

Meanwhile, Camden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to Eagle Ridge Academy.

Minneapolis South now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Camden, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Minneapolis South took their victory against Camden when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 7-1 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
