After a string of seven wins, Starr's Mill's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 8-1 to the Central Lions. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Starr's Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Starr's Mill will head out to take on Harris County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central, they will venture away from home to face off against East Coweta at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
