Baseball Game Preview: Cleveland Panthers vs. Hayden Wildcats

Cleveland is 2-8 against Hayden since February of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Cleveland Panthers challenge Hayden Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Cleveland has given up an average of 8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Cleveland came up short against Appalachian on Tuesday, falling 19-1.

Meanwhile, Hayden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-2 to West Point.

Hayden's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Cleveland, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Cleveland might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Hayden in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can Cleveland avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
