Football Recap: Columbine Rebels vs. Fruita Monument Wildcats
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Columbine had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Fruita Monument Wildcats 44-14. The victory was nothing new for the Rebels as they're now sitting on three straight.
Mark Snyder produced another solid performance rushing for 185 yards and two scores while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. He has become a key player for Columbine: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 3-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Frazier, who rushed for 107 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 13 carries.
