Football Recap: Flandreau Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Flandreau can now relate to. They were beaten by the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies 42-14 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Fliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota football rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Huskies are ranked ninth).

Flandreau's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Elk Point-Jefferson, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

As of now, neither Flandreau nor the Huskies have any future games scheduled.
