It was a good run, but Wilcox County unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 13-5 to the Tiftarea Academy Panthers. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Patriots, who until this matchup were averaging 2.8 runs allowed.

Deacon Harper made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles. Myles Davis was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
