Soccer Recap: Catholic Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Catholic can now relate to. They came up short against the Benedictine Cadets on Friday, falling 3-0. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Catholic couldn't quite close it out.

This is the second loss in a row for Catholic and nudges their season record down to 10-12-3. As for Benedictine, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3-1.

Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Benedictine, they have already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against Bishop O'Connell on the 3rd.
