Softball Game Preview: Eastern Eagles vs. Seneca Red Hawks

The Eastern Eagles will face off against the Seneca Red Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Eastern has three straight victories, Seneca has 13 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Eastern got the win against North Oldham by a conclusive 8-2. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 19 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Seneca lost 20-1 to Jeffersontown on Thursday.

Seneca's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Eastern, their win bumped their record up to 28-11.

Everything went Eastern's way against Seneca in their previous meeting back in March of 2017, as Eastern made off with a 15-0 victory. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
