The Southwest DeKalb Panthers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 47-38 victory over Stone Mountain. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Southwest DeKalb also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Kelvin Peek, III continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring eight points along with ten rebounds and seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Ushery, who scored 11 points along with two steals.

Southwest DeKalb pushed their record up to 10-12 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Stone Mountain, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southwest DeKalb and Stephenson will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Stephenson has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 191 points over their last three contests. As for Stone Mountain, they and Hapeville Charter will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hapeville Charter has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.
