Basketball Recap: Huguenot Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Huguenot kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They received a blow as they fell 61-44 to the James River Midlothian Rapids. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rapids apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Huguenot lost, don't look at Ra'Sean Miller. Despite the final result, he posted nine points and five blocks. Another player making a difference was Horatio Kinlock, who earned six points and three steals.

Looking ahead, Huguenot will be playing in front of their home fans against Manchester at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. James River Midlothian has already played their next matchup (against Banner Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
