Basketball Recap: The Daniel Academy Skates Past Frontier STEM with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask The Daniel Academy). They blew past Frontier STEM 57-29 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Lions have posted since February 12, 2024.

Leading The Daniel Academy to victory were Noah Maldinado and Noah Lee. Maldinado went 6 for 12 en route to 15 points and three steals, while Lee dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten steals. The matchup was Maldinado's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Landon Killebrew was another key player, putting up four points.

The Daniel Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.

The win snapped The Daniel Academy's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-6 record. As for Frontier STEM, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
