Sunnyvale entered their tilt with Caddo Mills on Friday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They took their game with ease, bagging a 65-35 victory over the Caddo Mills Foxes. Given Sunnyvale's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th, while Caddo Mills is ranked 776th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Caddo Mills' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emeril Grant, who posted 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Grant has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Jailyn Gonzales was another key player, putting up nine points and five boards.

Sunnyvale has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game.
