Basketball Recap: Germantown Has No Trouble Against Brookfield Central

Germantown won the last time they faced Brookfield Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Germantown Warhawks strolled past the Brookfield Central Lancers with points to spare, taking the game 77-60. The Warhawks' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Germantown had a senior duo take command as Madeline Jakusz dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 boards and Danica Gosz went 9 of 18 on her way to 24 points and six assists. With that strong performance, Jakusz is now averaging an impressive 8.3 boards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Madelyn Andrus, who posted 11 points.

Germantown now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Brookfield Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Germantown will take on Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brookfield Central, they will square off against Menomonee Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
