Basketball Recap: Brittney Walker Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Faith

Wall hadn't done well against Faith recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Wall Eagles came out on top against the Faith Longhorns by a score of 53-45. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 54-34 win the Longhorns walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2022.

Wall's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brittney Walker, who posted 13 points along with eight boards and five steals. Walker has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Allie Kjerstad, who went 5 of 12 to rack up 17 points.

Wall now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Faith, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wall will welcome Newell at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Wall is facing Newell at the right time seeing as Newell is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Faith, they will host Lemmon/McIntosh on Tuesday.
