Softball Recap: Marion County Comes Up Short

Marion County was the 5-0 winner over Hubbertville when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Raiders came up short against the Lions on Tuesday, falling 11-3. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marion County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Hubbertville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Marion County will take on rival Brilliant at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hubbertville is set to square off against their familiar foe Berry at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
