Volleyball Recap: Los Alamitos Wins Going Away Against Canyon

It's playoff time, and Los Alamitos had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Canyon Comanches on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Griffins as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Los Alamitos not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Canyon between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-17.

Los Alamitos' win bumped their record up to 17-15. As for Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.

Coming up, Los Alamitos will venture away from home to take on Valencia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Griffins surely won't give up without a fight. Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
