The Oilers haven't had any issues with the Pumas recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Richmond had a senior duo take command as Valerie Fierros posted 15 points and Perla Hernandez had 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamielyn Hardy, who put up six points.
Leadership Public Schools Richmond's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.
