Sinton got themselves on the board against Robstown on Friday, but Robstown never followed suit. They breezed past the Cottonpickers to the tune of 45-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Pirates' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 147th, while the Cottonpickers are ranked 786th).

Mykha Green produced another solid effort rushing for 217 yards and five scores while picking up 12.8 yards per carry. Green is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 215 every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Quincy Bess, who rushed for 68 yards and one touchdown.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Sinton proved: they limited Robstown to a paltry 1.7 yards per carry. While two picked up at least six total tackles, Jonathan Rivas stood above the rest. He picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made six total tackles. Sinton didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 10.1.

The win made it two in a row for Sinton and bumps their season record up to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points over those games. As for Robstown, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.

Sinton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 31-0 win against Rockport-Fulton on the 7th. As for Robstown, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 41-20 defeat against Cuero on the 7th.
