Football Recap: Pascack Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pascack Valley can now relate to. They and the Passaic Valley Hornets were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but they suffered a 35-34 defeat. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Despite the loss, Pascack Valley still got an impressive performance from Kai Smith, who rushed for 96 yards and two TDs on only ten carries. Smith's longest rush was for an impressive 66 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Marc Dellaquila made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Pascack Valley now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Passaic Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Pascack Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Passaic Valley, they will venture away from home to take on Wayne Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
