Basketball Recap: Lowellville Comes Up Short

Lowellville lost against McDonald back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lowellville Rockets took a blow against the McDonald Blue Devils, falling 64-31.

Lowellville has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points over those games. As for McDonald, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6.

Looking ahead, Lowellville will square off against Mathews at 7:00 p.m. on February 22nd. As for McDonald, they will be playing at home against Mapleton at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st.
