Soccer Game Preview: Christchurch School vs. StoneBridge

The Christchurch School Seahorses will face off against the StoneBridge Cavaliers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

Last Thursday, neither Christchurch School nor St. Catherine's could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, StoneBridge put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let Cape Henry Collegiate get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The result was nothing new for StoneBridge, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

StoneBridge's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. Christchurch School's draw gives them a new season record of 2-3-2.

Everything went Christchurch School's way against StoneBridge in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Christchurch School made off with a 5-0 win. Do the Seahorses have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cavaliers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
