Baseball Recap: Five Straight Road Wins for Fabens

Fabens won the last time they faced Mountain View and things went their way on Monday too. The Wildcats skirted past the Lobos 7-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Ricardo Silva was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jose Acosta, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Fabens' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Mountain View, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Lobos beat Fabens by a score of 6-4 on Friday.
