Baseball Recap: Bishop Timon-St. Jude Takes a Loss

The Bishop Timon-St. Jude Tigers didn't have quite enough to beat the Griffith Institute Griffins on Saturday and fell 4-3. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop Timon-St. Jude saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryder Kopacz, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Another was Ian Wasielewski, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Bishop Timon-St. Jude's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Griffith Institute, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Coming up, Bishop Timon-St. Jude is taking a road trip to challenge Canisius at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Griffith Institute, they will be playing at home against Olean at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
