Volleyball Recap: Joshua Owls vs. Centennial Spartans
It was a good run, but Joshua unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Centennial Spartans by a score of 3-2. Joshua's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-13. As for Centennial, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-7.
Joshua will head out to face off against Everman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Everman: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Joshua has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road. As for Centennial, they will host Burleson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Burleson will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Centennial surely won't give up without a fight.
