Volleyball Recap: Pamlico County's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Six + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pamlico County had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the West Columbus Vikings as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Hurricanes sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Pamlico County took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12, 25-8.

Sydney Whitley-Reese paced Pamlico County's offense, picking up six kills. Whitley-Reese got some help from Dakota Schmidt and her 16 assists. Madison Anderson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Pamlico County's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for West Columbus, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-15.

Pamlico County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Eno River Academy on the 21st. West Columbus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
