Soccer Recap: Flagler Palm Coast's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Flagler Palm Coast was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Deltona on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Pine Ridge Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Flagler Palm Coast were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Pine Ridge apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.

Flagler Palm Coast's goal came courtesy of Rami Amiri, who's now up to three this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Flagler Palm Coast fell to 2-1. As for Pine Ridge, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Flagler Palm Coast is taking a road trip to face off against Tocoi Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pine Ridge, they will head out to square off against Mount Dora at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Mount Dora have yet to allow a single goal through four matches this season, a streak Pine Ridge will look to end.
