Basketball Game Preview: Richland Rebels vs. Naylor Eagles

The Richland Rebels will head out to face off against the Naylor Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Richland's tournament run continued when they took on Bell City on Thursday. Richland came out on top against Bell City by a score of 64-56. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rebels.

Meanwhile, Naylor came into Friday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past Clarkton with a 41-37 victory on Friday.

Naylor's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11. As for Richland, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Richland came up short against Naylor in their previous matchup back in January of 2020, falling 66-54. Can Richland avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
