Football Game Preview: Baldwin Park Braves vs. Diamond Ranch Panthers + Official Tickets

The Baldwin Park Braves will take on the Diamond Ranch Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses apiece.

On Thursday, Baldwin Park came up short against San Dimas and fell 38-28.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Valentino May, who threw for 302 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 35 yards. Jacory Coleman was another key player, picking up 44 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, Diamond Ranch came up short against West Covina on Thursday, falling 35-13. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 521st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 179th).

Baldwin Park now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Diamond Ranch, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Baldwin Park beat Diamond Ranch 36-25 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Will the Braves repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
