Summer Creek extended their road winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Makayla Smith. The Bulldogs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Goose Creek Memorial Patriots on Tuesday thanks in part to Smith, who had 12 digs and two assists. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Summer Creek had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-22, 25-10, 25-17.

Summer Creek's win bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Goose Creek Memorial, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 21-13.
