Wenonah had won 13 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they bumped up to 4-0 to make it 14. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 78-76 victory over the Minor Tigers. Wenonah's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Santez Pendleton, who went 10-for-14 to rack up 29 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. Pendleton's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Brendon Davis was another key player, shooting 50% from the field en route to 20 points and five boards.
Having lost for the first time this season, Minor fell to 3-1. On the bright side, the 76- point performance marked their highest-scoring contest to date.
