Baseball Game Preview: Boulder Creek Jaguars vs. Putnam City Pirates

The Boulder Creek Jaguars will face off against the Putnam City Pirates at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Putnam City took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Boulder Creek, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with eight losses in a row, Boulder Creek turned things around against Rock Canyon on Monday. They came out on top against Rock Canyon by a score of 8-5.

The team relied heavily on Titus Franklin, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Finn, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

Boulder Creek kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2024.

Meanwhile, Putnam City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 22-0 to Cactus Shadows.

Jt Twillie made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in both of his plate appearances with four stolen bases. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Boulder Creek's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Putnam City, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
