Volleyball Recap: Kate Beardslee Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Riverside Christian

Northport had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Riverside Christian Crusaders on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Northport never let Riverside Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 26-24.

Northport's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kate Beardslee, who had 22 kills, 12 digs, two aces, and one block. That's the most kills Beardslee has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Dalilah Colton, who had 31 assists and 12 digs.

Northport's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Riverside Christian, they dropped their record down to 13-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Northport has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Liberty Christian on the 4th. Riverside Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
