Baseball Game Preview: Sullivan Redskins vs. Blue Ridge Knights

The Sullivan Redskins will challenge the Blue Ridge Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Sullivan and five for Blue Ridge.

Cerro Gordo/Bement hit Sullivan with a five-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Redskins fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 9-8.

Marshall Robison was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with one run.

Okaw Valley hit Blue Ridge with a four-run seventh inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Knights lost 17-4 to the Timberwolves.

Sullivan's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Blue Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
