Valor Christian waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on Thompson Valley with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for Valor Christian, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Valor Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Harper Scott, who had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces Scott has posted since October 2nd. Lily Bowers also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Valor Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in three consecutive matchups.

Valor Christian's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Thompson Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.

Valor Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Eaton on the 31st. As for Thompson Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Rampart on the 31st.
