Volleyball Recap: Ozaukee Finds Playoff Glory Versus Milwaukee Juneau

It's playoff time, and Ozaukee had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Milwaukee Juneau Pioneers 3-0 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Ozaukee was: they took every set by at least 19 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-6, 25-6.

Maddy Barnes paced Ozaukee's offense, picking up seven kills. Barnes got some help from Helen Utecht and her 17 assists. Leighton Schmitz controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Ozaukee's victory bumped their record up to 19-15. As for Milwaukee Juneau, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

Coming up, Ozaukee will face off against St. Joseph at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Milwaukee Juneau does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
