Soccer Recap: Iowa Colony Wins Going Away Against La Porte

Iowa Colony barely beat La Porte the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Iowa Colony Pioneers put the hurt on the La Porte Bulldogs with a sharp 4-1 win on Friday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Pioneers' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

The victory got Iowa Colony back to even at 8-8-2. As for La Porte, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10-2.

Looking ahead, Iowa Colony will head out to square off against Friendswood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Friendswood will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something Iowa Colony surely won't give up without a fight. La Porte does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
