Volleyball Recap: Universal Comes Up Short

Universal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Islamic Foundation Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat back in April.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-11.

Universal's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Islamic Foundation, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Universal will face off against rival College Prep of America at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Islamic Foundation is set to challenge their familiar foe Hinsdale Adventist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
