Basketball Recap: Rockdale County Comes Up Short

Rockdale County was the 71-66 winner over Brookwood when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell 64-58 to the Broncos on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (56), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Rockdale County and nudges their season record down to 4-5. As for Brookwood, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

Coming up, Rockdale County and Union Grove will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Wolverines have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Brookwood, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Hebron Christian at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
