St. Michael extended their winning streak to five on Saturday, bumping them up to 6-1. They took down the Heritage Coyotes 78-60. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Heritage fell to 5-1. The loss was their first of the season.

Defeat or not, Heritage got some senior leadership from Bryson Howard and Cameron Lomax. Howard dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Lomax posted 22 points along with six assists and five boards. The game was Lomax's 25th in a row with at least 16 points. Tyson Elder was another key player, putting up eight points.

Looking ahead, St. Michael's will host Stony Point at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Heritage, they will square off against Bishop O'Connell at 6:40 p.m. on Saturday.
