Soccer Game Preview: Upson-Lee vs. Jones County

The Upson-Lee Knights will take on the Jones County Greyhounds at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Upson-Lee will be strutting in after a win while Jones County will be coming in after a defeat.

Upson-Lee's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Jasper County as they made off with a 4-0 victory. It was an even better day for Reese Streetman as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matchups, Jones County finally came back down to earth two weeks ago. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Ola who was credited with the win. The Mustangs got it done in the shootout by posting two goals to Jones County's zero. The loss continues a trend for Jones County in their meetings with Ola: they've now lost four in a row.

Jones County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Upson-Lee, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
