Sam Houston entered their tilt with Sulphur on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Golden Tors by a score of 8-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Broncos also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2025.

Sam Houston's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Sulphur, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Sam Houston will head out to square off against Live Oak at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sulphur, they will welcome Southside at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The last four games the Sharks have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
