Football Game Preview: Bamberg-Ehrhardt Red Raiders vs. St. John's Islanders

The Bamberg-Ehrhardt Red Raiders will look to defend their home field on Friday against the St. John's Islanders at 7:30 p.m. Bamberg-Ehrhardt knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully St. John's likes a good challenge.

Bamberg-Ehrhardt's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They breezed past Denmark-Olar to the tune of 56-0. Considering the Red Raiders have won nine contests by more than 33 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Marcus Cann Jr. had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, St. John's had to suffer through a 48-7 loss at the hands of Branchville.

Bamberg-Ehrhardt's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.4 points on average over those games. As for St. John's, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
