Volleyball Recap: Legacy's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Legacy waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Legacy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22, 13-25, 25-16.

Raelene Miguel paced Legacy's offense, picking up 16 kills. Miguel got some help from Miy'Aja Diggs and her 20 assists.

Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 11-17. As for Mater Academy East Las Vegas, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-18 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Legacy and Pinecrest Academy Cadence will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mater Academy East Las Vegas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
